Frequently asked questions
Answers about connecting your PlayStation account, privacy, guides and more.
What is PS Trophy Tracker?
A free app and website that show your PlayStation trophies (PS5, PS4, PS3 and Vita): your games and progress, trophy rarity, the easiest platinums, guides and news about server shutdowns. It is independent and not affiliated with Sony.
Is it free?
Yes. There are no ads and no payments today. If that ever changes, we update the privacy policy first and ask for your consent before showing any ad.
How do I connect my PlayStation account?
Sign up with your email and confirm it with the link we send. Then open My Profile and type your PSN ID. We only read what your public PlayStation profile already shows. We never ask for your PlayStation password or email.
Why do I not see my games or trophies?
Your trophy list must be set to Public in your PlayStation privacy settings. After connecting, your games appear first and the trophy details load in the background, which can take a while for a big library. Pull down on a page to refresh.
How often is my data updated?
You can refresh by hand once an hour (pull down on My Profile, Games or a game). The app also refreshes by itself when you open it and the data is older than 24 hours, and our server updates every member once a day.
Someone else connected my PSN ID. What can I do?
Each PSN ID can be connected to one account only. If another account connected it without proof, you can prove it is yours: put a short code in the "About me" of your PlayStation profile and the connection moves to you. If that does not work, press "Can't connect? Need help?" on the connect screen and tell us.
I did not get the confirmation email.
Look in your spam folder for mail from noreply@pstrophytracker.com. On the "Check your email" screen you can press "Send again" (once a minute), correct a wrong address, or choose "Still no email? Tell us" and we will confirm your address by hand.
I forgot my password or my email address.
On the sign-in screen press "Forgot password?" and we send a one-time link to your email. If you also forgot the email, press "Forgot your email?" and prove the account with a short code in your PlayStation "About me".
Who can see my profile?
By default other members can see your PSN ID, picture, trophy level, trophy counts and games, and anyone with your profile link can open your public page. In Settings, Privacy you can make your profile private, keep your trophies private or hide single games. Your lists and notes are always private.
What do Ultra Rare, Very Rare, Rare and Common mean?
They show how many of all players earned a trophy, as PlayStation counts it: Ultra Rare is under 5%, Very Rare 5 to 15%, Rare 15 to 50% and Common 50% or more.
Where do the guides and videos come from?
We only link to them. Written guides open on the creators' own sites (PowerPyx, TrueTrophies) and videos play in YouTube's official player, always with credit. We never copy their guides. Some links open a search when we cannot know the exact page.
What are unobtainable trophies and server shutdowns?
Some online trophies can no longer be earned after a game's servers close. We mark them from reports we check and from the community list PSNP+, and the shutdown news comes from the headlines of news sites, each with a link to the original.
Is there an Android app?
The Android app is coming to Google Play. Until then the full web app works in any browser at pstrophytracker.com/app/, on a phone or a PC.
How do I delete my account?
Open My Profile, Settings, Account and choose "Delete my account". Everything is deleted at once. Without the app, follow the steps on the delete-account page.
How can I contact you?
Use "Feedback" in Settings, or write to trackerpstrophy@gmail.com.
